Home of the Corpus Christi Lions

The CYO program at Corpus Christi was started in 1945. As it is today there are approximately 225 boys and girls in the CYO travel program and 100 boys and girls in the Clinic part of the program. Although the wins are important, the program is designed with the purpose of developing young Christians. We are not trying to develop NBA players, but we are here teaching the children sportsmanship, what it is like to be part of a team, relying on ourselves and others for the greater good...

In the News...

Nov. 2010 - " THE LIONS ROAR" - In line with the CYO Mission and in order to provide an opportunity for our players to develop strong moral character, self worth and a commitment to caring for others and their community, 4th Grade Coach Kenny Solosky, has intiated " THE LIONS ROAR" campaign.

The nickname for all Corpus Christi CYO teams is “The Lions” and we think it would be a wonderful example to show the community that our players, even at their very young age, can make a significant contribution to those in need.

Let the community see how we “ROAR”!
