This campaign is about community service, so therefore we are requesting items for the Food Pantry Needs (Very Low) Fruit Juice Laundry detergent Tea & Ground Coffee Paper Products Canned Vegetables Shampoo & detergent Mustard, Mayo & Ketchup Canned stew & meats Soup Canned pasta meals Food Pantry Needs (Low) Tuna Cake mixes Jello-O pudding mixes Supermarket gift cards Side dishes Tooth paste & brushes Cookies We ask that every CYO player please consider bringing one item listed above every week to practice so we can make weekly donations to the food pantry. There will be a labeled box for collection at every practice. Participation is absolutely voluntary! Thank you in advance for your support!! Feb. 2010 -Congratulations to 11th/12th grade girls team coached by Keith Gessner and Mike Falotico for making the Nassau/Suffolk finals for the 3rd year in a row.
Nov. 2010 - " THE LIONS ROAR" - In line with the CYO Mission and in order to provide an opportunity for our players to develop strong moral character, self worth and a commitment to caring for others and their community, 4th Grade Coach Kenny Solosky, has intiated " THE LIONS ROAR" campaign.
The nickname for all Corpus Christi CYO teams is “The Lions” and we think it would be a wonderful example to show the community that our players, even at their very young age, can make a significant contribution to those in need.
Nov. 2010 - Colleen Carboine has been voted the new Program Director for Corpus Christi's CYO Basketball. We thank Colleen for stepping up to the plate and wish her well in the new position. For the complete list of the Governing Board, please click on the information tab.
Oct. 2010 - Tommy Rudolph has decided to step down as Corpus Christi's CYO Program Director due to time constraints. Tommy has devoted countless hours the last 15 years to running every aspect of the program. Tom was successful in expanding the program into what it is known for today: well respected, great sportsmanship and a great place for children to learn family values. We all thank Tommy for making such a positive mark on our program.
April 2010 - The Communion Breakfast under the direction of Kenny Solosky was a huge success, special thanks to the entire Solosky family.
March 2010 - Congratulations to 6th Grade Boys team coached by Andy Ward and Larry Egan for making into to the Nassau/ Suffolk Semi-Finals.
Jan. 2010 - The 8th Grade Girls team won the St. Vincent De Paul Holiday tournament. Well Done!

Jan. 2010 - The 4th Grade Boys team, coached by Kevin Braster, traveled to Glendale, Queens for the Sacred Heart Christmas Tournament. Coach Braster had played and coached for Sacred Heart for 25 years before moving to Corpus Christi Parish. The team played well, but eventually lost in the Semi-Finals to St. Adalberts, who not only won the tournament, but went on to win the Queens CYO Diocesan Championship as well.
Jan. 2010 - The kids from Corpus Christi CYO played at halftime of a Hofstra University Basketball game. Several of the players took the time to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids after the game.
